With a new LEGO movie set to hit theaters in February, I’m not surprised to see a huge collection of new LEGO inspired projects hitting the scene in the next couple weeks. The latest to surface is a collection of Famous Album Covers recreated with LEGO pieces and I think you might recognize a couple.
The series was created by Italian designer Marco Sodano, and captures some of history’s most popular and monumental album covers recreated with the infamous pixelated LEGO pieces. Ranging from genre to genre, Sodano made sure to not only recreate covers people would recognize, but were extremely influential as well. From Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album to something more recent like Kanye West’s 2013 release “Yeezus”, these creative pieces are definitely something worth checking out. Sodano is also taking requests to continue making new covers through his website.
