Blending his surroundings with his experiences, New Jersey based artist Joe Iurato’s distinctively clean and photorealistic cutouts bring the art of perspective and scenery all into one.
Stenciling from wood and detailing with aerosol, not only are the cutouts themselves a spectacle to focus on, but the viewpoint to create an individual scene with each piece is amazing. Added to the environment and working with the public spaces around him, the visual element of precise photography truly completes he installation.
Mainly working as a street artist in the city atmosphere, he’s been known to collaborate with clients like Adidas, Nickelodeon, and The New York Racing Association on a regular basis to keep his name on the established list.
“I use layers of hand cut paper and spray paint to create texture and form – a modern adaptation of an old-fashioned printing process. My art is nothing more than the exploration and documentation of personal experiences.”
Enjoy!
